Step into the warmth of Provence for an unforgettable evening with Makenna Held, author of Mostly French and steward of Julia Child’s former summer home, La Pitchoune.

In 2016, Makenna took a bold leap, purchasing La Pitchoune sight unseen. Today, she runs a cooking school on its storied grounds, keeping the spirit of French culinary tradition alive. Her cookbook, Mostly French, captures the essence of Provence with 150 simple, flavorful recipes.

For this special dinner, our culinary team will craft a menu that blends our signature perspective with the rustic elegance of Makenna’s book, creating a dining experience that honors both tradition and innovation. 

As you sip and savor, she’ll share stories of La Pitchoune, lessons from hosting La Pitchoune: Cooking in France on Magnolia Network, and insights on embracing the slower rhythms of French living.
